Our Process

When you partner with Ultra SIP Panels, expect outstanding service from start to finish. After discussing your project's requirements, our team will expertly design and manufacture your SIP panels to exact specifications. With direct on-site delivery, there's no need for storage or project delays.

Proven Concept Incredible Efficiency

Our 147mm panel offers an exceptionally low U-value of 0.17 W/m²K, while our 172mm roofing panel offers an even better 0.15 W/m²K.

Our Environment

Our environmental commitment extends to responsibly sourced OSB 3, certified by PEFC and FSC-certified timber. SIP panel projects minimise environmental impact, as they can be constructed with less timber than a traditional framed building.

FAQs

SIP panels consist of a high performance polyurethane insulation core injected between two structural facings to form a single load bearing element. This composite construction provides high strength to weight ratios, excellent racking resistance and predictable structural and thermal performance.

Ultra SIP Panels are produced to industry leading dimensional and density tolerances, ensuring accurate panel geometry, consistent joint alignment and tight interfaces between structural elements. This precision significantly improves airtightness, reduces thermal bridging and minimises remedial work on site.

Panels are manufactured under robust and compliance based factory quality control procedures, ensuring consistency in insulation density, bond integrity and panel dimensions. Factory production removes the variability associated with site built systems and delivers repeatable, specification compliant results.

SIP construction increases thermal performance by creating a continuous, highly insulated and airtight building envelope. The solid insulation core delivers consistent thermal values across walls, roof and floor, while the reduced need for structural timber minimises thermal bridging and heat loss. Precision manufactured SIP panel systems also achieve superior airtightness, reducing draughts, improving temperature stability and allowing heating and cooling systems to operate more efficiently, resulting in lower energy demand, improved comfort and reliable year round performance.

Yes. SIP panels are widely used in almost all building and construction types and are recognised by all required regulatory bodies. SIP structures can meet the structural and thermal requirements expected of commercial grade construction.

SIP systems require fewer structural components, simplify detailing and allow for much faster enclosure of the building envelope. This results in drastically shorter construction programmes, improved build accuracy and more predictable and superior performance than traditional timber frame methods.

Yes, SIP panel buildings comply with UK Building Regulations, including thermal, acoustic and structural requirements. Ultra SIP Panels can support installers and trade partners with technical input covering regulations from the design phase to completion where required.

Standard inclusions, dependent upon project type and request are all required elevation SIP panels, interconnects (SIP splines/timber), structural elements where necessary (steel or glue laminated) beams/columns and joists. All elements are cut and machined to form an assembly kit. Specialist fixings, adhesives and building wrap. Full design and structural calculations where applicable and delivery.

While not undertaking installation directly, for full project delivery we work with a trusted network of experienced trade partners capable of providing turnkey solutions including design coordination, installation and finishing.
